Cookies

So I had my first adventure in my new mini kitchen at my house, and let's just say I survived.  I only burnt the first set of cookies and I decorated the whole batch.  And most importantly I want to do it again.  These are not by any means perfect but I think its a good starting point.  Practice makes perfect.

My purchases from Meijer.  I did not have any baking supplies so I got all new, including princess cookie cutters.

I used a mix for the cookie dough, easy and still taste good.  I mostly just wanted to decorate.

First batch that I end up burning.  I should have made all my cookies a little thicker.

2nd set.  I love the shapes :)

Only set I baked perfectly.

Here is where I start to get very messy.  I need a squeeze bottle for the flooding icing.

{Semi} Wordless Wednesday - Cookie Edition

I have a confusion, I love Wordless Wednesdays.  I love linking up with other blogs and discovering amateur bloggers like myself.  It is just all around fun.

So today as I was sitting at work, I came up with this bright idea that I wanted to bake cookies and decorate them tonight.  F.Y.I I am not a baker and do not have any of the supplies.  I am going to head to Meijers after work and hope I do not spend all my money on my crazy I think I can do anything ideas.  

So my {Semi} Wordless Wednesday includes my inspiration for the day.

Hello everybody,  sorry for the delay in posts but my vacation was much needed and I choose to stay away from my computers and such.  But I am back and ready to see what I have missed, including starting a new social network.

I have decided that I am a big fan of Google and I support them taking over the world, at the anything to do with computers, internet, and social networking.  Let's face it, we all use Blogger, a Google product.  At least us bloggers like Blogger.  Anything you need to know information, you just "Google" it.  I am a big fan of Google Docs.  And now I am a big fan of Google+.  While right now it is annoying because not everyone has it but I love the ideas and features I have discovered on it.  It snycs well with my android, it is much easier to publicly or privately share stuff.  And we can all agree that we have too many Facebook friends and starting new could be beneficial.  While I still do not understand all the features I think I am going to come to like it and I am rooting for Google+ to take down Facebook like Facebook took down MySpace.  But yes I still have my Facebook and Twitter, I am not ready to part that much from my other social networking sites.

A Girl can Dream

Hi Everyone, I haven't posted anything is quite awhile it seems like, I guess that means my life hasn't been too excited.  I really didn't know what to post until I started looking at Pintrest.com.  I was looking at all these pictures of amazing kitchens.  One day in my dream house I will have a kitchen that looks like this where I will actually learn how to cook and bake.  I mean who wouldn't enjoy cooking in a kitchen like these.

I love the look of black and white anything.  Simple yet classy.  It is my favorite.

The stools aren't my favorite but I love the idea of a big island in the middle to sit, eat, and spend time with family around.

I just think this is a cool looking kitchen, very modern.  And I like these stools.

I love to dream about what my house will look like one day, now only if I would win a million dollars to make this happen.

Keep your head up, it may only be Monday, but the weekend is only 4 days away.
